Reviews and Ratings

David Skinner rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Dark Ruby. The nose is rich with blackberry, spice, cinnamon and cherries. Flavours are predominantly black fruit and oak accents. Full bodied and supple tannins with a good acidity level. A medium-long finish starts with oak and then fades into fruit. Try this with a roasted duck breast and cherry-vanilla sauce.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A decent wine at this price-point, definitely a crowd-pleaser - you could serve this at a big dinner or banquet and keep 'em all happy! Full-bodied and smooth with loads of dark fruit and a bit of spice, leather and herb to make it a little interesting; well-balanced acidity, fine tannins and enough of a finish make you go back for another sip.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby puple colour with some thick legs showing extraction. Intense aromas of fresh picked berries, cassis, plum, sweet baking spices. A velvet mouthfeel with medium+ acidity and full-bodied. A long vanilla cherry finish. Enjoyable. Points for value at $16.

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby/purple, plummy, baking spice with herb & pepper notes on the nose. Medium full bodied, nice round mouthfeel, well balanced, with juicy plum, cherry, spice and cedar. Missing points for complexity, but very tasty and drinkable, solid value at the price point.

Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Notes of Cassis and cherries on the nose. The palate offers the same with some spice and a bit of smoke.
Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Purple hues, with aromas of stewed dark fruit and generous baking spice notes. A silky smooth mouth feel with dark fruit and spice again. The medium+ tannins are present with decent acidity, make this a delicious food wine in the value category.
