Natalie's Score: 90/100

A full-bodied red wine with terrific balance, flavour and depth. There's a nervy energy to this wine: French elegance keeping the power and concentration of Argentine fruit in check. Full-bodied but not heavy. Finishes with dark spices and tobacco smoke. Lovely.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2010 is a bit disappointing. The cooler, damper weather that plagued the vintage really comes through in the form of the oak doing battle with the black fruit, milk chocolate, spice, flowers, and dried herb. Comes together a bit in the glass, but not as much as I am used to with this wine. 88 Points. (ottawawinejournal.com)
Martha Kelly AIWS - CS rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep purple in colour, with flavours of black cherry, blueberry, chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, black pepper, cloves, and eucalyptus. The flavours are carried with rich body and ripe tannins on the long, velevety finish.
Drink now, or cellar until 2017.
Pair with gourmet burgers.
Date tasted: April 2014.
