A smooth, velvety and elegant Chianti Classico with ripe, juicy cherry, dark berry and spicy flavours on the palate. Tannins are rounded and there is great acidity for food. Pair with a Coq aux Vins.

Chianti Classico food pairings: bucatini (pasta) with sausage and peas, roast beef, pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely Chianti balancing on a knife's edge between rustic and modern, contrasting sour cherry and high acid with ripe strawberry and firm yet rounded tannins. Modern styling wins out as the fruity finish gives ripe red cherry and red fruit in a clean and enjoyable manner. Oak influence is minimal, providing pleasant accents while allowing the fruits to shine. Like any good Chianti, this is at home on the dinner table with lasagna, roasted lamb, and chioppino.
From Castello Di Querceto, this lush and robust Chianti Classico from the Tuscany wine region is made from Sangiovese wine grapes. Smoky with bright red cherry and savoury herb flavours. Great now. Pair with a meaty lasagne. - Community Wine Reviews
