Reviews and Ratings

Mark Britton rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This is a great value DOCG Chianti Classico at $16.95. The oak is strong but it works with nice flavours of earth, pepper, and some green vegetables. It's balanced by soft black fruit and very soft, plush tannins. A very nice, easy drinking wine.
Richard Traxel reviewed this wine as follows:

Present from Mollie
Emil reviewed this wine as follows:

Drank at Tin Cup
The 2009 Chinati DOCG is a deep ruby red color in the glass, while the nose exhibits floral aromas of violets and a ripe array of red wild berries. The dry, full bodied palate is perfectly balanced with flavors that echo the nose. The tannins are sweet, smooth and mouth filling, and the finish is clean.
