Full-bodied and supple with incredible concentration, depth and complexity. Elegantly balanced with a long finish. Notes of sun-dried tomatoes, dark tart cherry and earth. Just enough acidity to handle dishes with tomato sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This was an exceptional Chianti Classico that I had the fortune to taste with some friends who brought the bottle back from the Winery on a trip to Italy. They actually stayed at the Gabbiano winery on their visit and had nothing but compliments for the hospitality and wines!

The word Bellezza means "Beauty" and this is one beauty of a Chianti! 100% Sangiovese and aged approximately 16 months in French oak results in smooth supple tannins with lots of smoke and leather aromas. On the palate a nice balance of fruit and acidity.

We shared this wine over, what else, a plate of home-made spaghetti and it was the perfect pairing!
