Natalie's Score: 90/100 Fleshy black plum on the nose with some rich mocha notes: fleshy-ripe-sweet though it's a dry wine. Full-bodied with great acidity for roast chicken. Bold and vibrant, yet still elegant. Made from young vines grown in the Casablanca Valley planted on hillside blocks in red clay and decomposed granite. Loaded with dark berry on the finish.
Pinot Noir food pairings: crown of pork roast with corn, mushrooms and rice, pork tenderloin in fig and cherry wine sauce.

Reviews and Ratings
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review: Lovely light ruby colour with purple hue. Abundance of ripe cherry as the primary aroma, followed by damp earth and herbaceous notes. Medium-bodied with a long, cherry finish. Pair with rosemary lamb chops. Tasted Oct 02, 2016.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review: This pinot puts me in mind of one from Sonoma. Medium body with cranberry, blueberry and earthy aromas. Nice balance of acidity, tannins and fruit with a lush mouthfeel. Long smooth finish. I can think of all kinds of food pairings; pork tenderloin with a cranberry glaze, roasted pork with rosemary, roasted chicken, and the list goes on. This is a great value Pinot.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review: Overall, a great value Pinot. Lots of cherry and red fruit on the nose, combined with some earthy flavours. Also a bit of a briny note. Light to medium body, overall a fairly bright and clear expression of the grape. Perfect for charcuterie, lamb or other rich and savoury dishes.
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review: A dry and savoury Pinot Noir, with earth and slight tart cherry on the nose and tasty mocha showing on the palate and through to finish. A bit weak on flavour for a Pinot Noir. Tasted Sept 2016
Emilie Ryan rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review: A good-value, food-friendly Pinot Noir… Presentation: We like the personal touch on the bottom half, but are not entirely sure of the overall concept Appearance: Clear, pale, ruby Nose: Clean, light-to-medium nose with notes of green (green peppers, herbaceous) and raspberries Taste: Dry, medium body, medium acidity, medium/round tannins, sour cherries, leather, cigar box or mocha, fennel Finish: Long, with enduring herbaceous and fennel notes Overall impression: A good Pinot Noir of good value, with nice acidity that should pair well with a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. Value: 4/5
This is the perfect medium-bodied Pinot Noir that will go best with your Mom's roast chicken. Casas Del Bosques Reserva (2014) from Chile's Casablanca Valley is black cherries, strawberries, a bit of earth minerality on the palate, surprisingly easy tannins all ending in a very decent spicy lengthy finish. Great price too! - Community Wine Reviews
