Reviews and Ratings

Jenny Ratcliffe-Wright CWM rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A big wine with 14.5% alcohol, but still elegant, perhaps from the fragrant 3% Viognier that has been blended in. Sweet fruit with a gentle florality and a gracefulness that is enticing. Try with Pork, shiitake and black bean stir fry. @wrightwineblog
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From Chile, mainly a Syrah with 3% Viognier added, to blend to a medium-full bodied wine that is well-blended and smooth. Dark berry aromas with some earthy flavours on the palate. Lamb, beef, poultry, Spanish tapas would go well and on a dare, salmon.
Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An interesting Syrah somewhere between the fruit driven Australian style and cooler climate restraint, which may be a result of the Humboldt Current and the wide diurnal swings in temperature in Colchagua Valley. Medium bodied, fruity and pleasant. Pair with pizza, burgers or charcuterie. Tasted January 2020. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From the Colchagua Valley wine region, Casa Silva Lolol Gran Terroir De La Costa 2016 Syrah is vibrant with blackberry, black cherry, mocha and cracked pepper flavours on the palate. Easy to enjoy. Pair with grilled lamb chops. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
