Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Located in the Colchagua Valley in Chile, Casa Silva offers a splendid 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. This lovely 2016 vintage reveals aromas of black cherry, black plum, black pepper, mint, clay dust, coffee, leather and baking spice. Full bodied and well and balanced, the Casa Silva Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 has all the qualities and character of a convivial wine. Casa Silva is one of the most awarded Chilean Wineries of the 21st century at International and National competitions. The family has been dedicated to the wine business for five generations, making it the most traditional winery in the Colchagua Valley. Palate, dark skin plum, black cherry, pepper, mocha, leather and oak. Pair with steak or pork. Enjoy!
Casa Silva Gran Terroir De Los Andes Los Lingues 2016 is a great value 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Colchagua Valley wine region. Look for ripe red fruits and fresh herb flavours and a smoky nose on this robust Chilean red. Wine grapes were sourced from the Los Lingues vineyard - 80% of the wine was aged in oak barrel for eight months. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
