Reviews and Ratings

Jessica Nagy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A luscious, lovely red perfect for cool fall evenings. Sour cherry, dried cranberry and a hint of strawberry dominate on the nose with a subtle hint to the earthy, acrid scent of autumn leaves on the ground.
Fairly well balanced on the palate, with a vibrant acidity and very smooth, almost non-existent tannins. Paired deliciously with a simple pasta featuring prosciutto, fresh Parmesan and dark greens.
Great value for an easy-drinking Italian red to enjoy any night of the week.

Dogajolo combines the power and deep colors of a young wine, the elegance and balance given by wood aging, as well as a fruity and fragrant bouquet.

Dogajolo allie la puissance et les couleurs foncées d’un jeune vin, l’élégance et l’équilibre fourni par le vieillissement dans du bois ainsi qu’un bouquet fruité et parfumé.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
