From Conegliano Valdobbiadene, Veneto wine region, Carpenè Malvolti 1924 Prosecco is a special cuvée dedicated to the Founder Antonio Carpenè, who was one of the pioneer's in developing the Prosecco sparkling wine process. This vintage is a reproduction of the first Prosecco label commercialized by the Winery in 1924. Produced from 90% Glera and 10% local grapes, it is delicate on the nose with white florals, white-fleshed stone fruits, grassy, citrus notes and is fresh on the palate with a delicate mousse that finishes with a refreshing bitter almond bite. Chill and enjoy it on its own or pair it with seafood canapes or grilled chicken dishes. Carpenè Malvolti was founded by Antonio Carpenè in 1868 and continues to be family-operated.

Prosecco food pairings: veggies and dip, grilled chicken breasts and wings, sushi.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
