A full-bodied Italian red wine with lots of juicy, mouth-watering acidity for tomato sauce and pasta. On the palate, attractive black fruit flavours with toasty oak. Finishes with vanilla smoke. Pair with grilled meats.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Aromas may seem mild to moderate at the outset but it opens up after minutes in the glass. The Leonardo shows a smooth mouthfeel, mellow tannins (dusty mouthfeel), moderate dark berry and plum notes, a medium body and shorter than expected dark chocolate finish. Enjoy pairing with braised meats (or braising your meats with). Tasted Jan 2017 - @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
