Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Pinot Grigio has over ripened peach aromas with orange blossom and mineral notes as well as hints of earl grey tea. In terms of flavours, there is lots of citrus, think lime, lemon and clementine, as well as juicy peach flavours and mineral undertones with fresh acidity.

Tasted November 2017
From the Abruzzo wine region, Cantina Zaccagnini's Tralcetto (2016) Pinot Grigio is an off-dry, medium-bodied white with a pronounced nose of crisp apple, white grapefruit and lemon-lime citrus flavours. Very fresh, clean and zesty pair this wine with a poached whitefish dish in a creamy white wine sauce, or simply on its own. - Community Wine Reviews
