Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon colour, pronounced fruity and mineral aromas of tart pear, yellow plum and lime citrus with tremendous amounts of minerals, clay and salt. Also an herbal element, fresh sage leaves. Sweet pea floral. Flavourful and fruity with bright grapefruit and lime notes. Much of the bouquet is echoed in the palate with some crisp yellow apple and briny sea. Medium plus acidity and finish with a medium minus body. Outstanding. Pair with fresh oysters, clams and scallops. 92 points - December 2017
Cantina Gallura Piras (2015) is made with 100% Vermentino wine grapes from the Sardinia wine region. Lovely dried herbs, ripe pear and savoury spice on this grassy and nutty-flavoured wine. Quite interesting and tasty. Pair with grilled seafood.- Community Wine Reviews
