Red fruit dominates the nose with cherry, currant, and earth notes on the palate. The flavors blend together nicely into a soft tannin finish. Pair with BBQ ribs.

Great value Rioja, Tempranillo dominant, ripe fleshy red and black berry, allspice, vanilla. Well balanced, Medium plus body, medium Plus tannins, medium plus fruit and acidity. This wine is ready to enjoy on its own or with your favourite enchiladas, burritos, tacos, or with roasted turkey dinner. @jonsteeves rated 89/100 - tasted Sept 2016
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Not a bad sipping wine.... it tastes great and it's bargain! Flavours are scrumptious and plenty. Dominant notes include blackberry, tart cherry, smoke and savory dried herb notes with a tangy finish. Enjoy with fall stews. Tasted Sept 2016. @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A dark ruby red and fruitier very easy drinking wine. This wine has aromas of sour dark cherry, red currant, dark berries, plums, a little jammy on the nose. Noticeable black pepper. Followed by coconut, sweet spice, and vanilla from the oak. The palate is full-bodied, with round tannins, medium acidity, smooth, dry, and well-balanced. Medium-long after tasting wine with flavors of plums, sweet spices cocoa wood, and smoke. Pair this with any cut of meat that is slow-roasted. [Tasted March/2017]
