Cambria Julia's Vineyard 2017 Pinot Noir is dry, medium-bodied with aromas of dark cherry, sous bois and wild herbs on the nose. Smooth and elegant with good acidity to match a mouthful of dark cherry, red berry, garrigue herbs, vanilla and spicy flavours on the palate. Aged in French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% neutral. Pour with roast duck.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roast pork, grilled veal Porterhouse, roast Cornish game hens.

Reviews and Ratings

Julia's Vineyard was named for Julia Jackson back in 1988 and the vineyard enjoys one of the longest growing seasons in California with fogs that roll in off the coast into the Santa Maria Valley on a regular basis. Cambria's Julia's Vineyard 2017 is an intense and juicy Pinot Noir with ripe raspberry, blueberry, earth tones and savoury spice flavours on the palate. Enjoy with roast pheasant. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
