Reviews and Ratings

Warren Sawkiw rated this wine as 93/100
This ruby colored Zinfandel from Cakebread is really versatile. It opens with a black raspberry and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and savory. The flavor profile is a mild oak infused ripe blackberry with notes of black plum. I also picked up a touch of black licorice and plum as well. The finish is dry and its fruit and well managed gentle tannins settle in nicely. This Zin is pretty food friendly. Score: 90. Source: Ken Hoggins, kenswineguide.com, May 22, 2013

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
