Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Bright lemon tartness and a bold acidity, minerality and a hint of oak . Lovely with many appetizers including grilled asparagus, Thai chicken skewers or smoked salmon tartare.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delicious! Prominent notes include melon, spice, and tropical fruit (no zesty notes here!). Enjoy this buttery medium+ bodied California Sauvignon Blanc with lobster ravioli. Tasted Sep 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
California Cakebread Cellars (2015) is a lemon, white grapefruit, melon and savoury spice, Sauvignon Blanc from the Napa Valley. The dry white wine blend is actually 90% Sauvignon Blanc, 6% Sémillon and 4% Sauvignon Musqué. Approximately, 80 percent of the wine juice goes into stainless steel tanks and 20 percent in neutral French oak barrels for fermentation prior to spending several months in neutral French oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews
