Cabriz 2020 is an amazing value, dry, full-bodied red blend from the Dão wine region at $14. Produced from 40% Alfrocheiro Preto, 40% Aragonez and 20% Touriga Nacional, you can expect this robust, smoky and vibrant red to be a perfect match with anything from the BBQ. Look for smoky, brambly red with dark fruit, savoury herbs, dark spices and vibrant food-friendly acidity. Tannins are firm.

Food pairings: blackened chicken, barbecued beef roast, bison burgers.
