Vintages Wine Panel: Moscato d’Asti, with its gentle sweetness, fizz and low alcohol, is a perfect way to start (or finish) a fine meal. My note: Love this bubbly! Light, a touch sweet, somewhat fizzy with orange clementine and peach preserve notes. So very pretty.

Reviews and Ratings

Corinna Horton rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Moscato is one of those all round cheese wines, with a light, fresh fizziness and juicy fragrance. It is the very definition of ‘tiny bubbles’ bursting with favour against the pallet.

Let me introduce you to a sheep’s milk cheese. If you’ve never tried one swing open the door of the Frigidaire, you’re in for a treat. Savello di Roma is a young firm cheese, aged as little as 60 days, it’s creamy and smooth with a hint of tang.

You never know, this bubbly might try to pick up a Taneggio or the Pamigiano, it’s that kind of wine.
Fresh, with juicy fruit and a touch of tannins on the finish. Score: 2 (out of 3) Source: Andy Perdue & Eric Degerman, winepressnw.com
