Buttery, round, balanced and amazing for the price! This full-bodied, classic Californian Chardonnay features aromas of green apple and butterscotch yet it's not heavy. Jean-Charles Boisset, of the famous French winemaking family (and married to Gina Gallo), now guides operations. Pair with roasted chicken.

Chardonnay food pairings: lobster in butter sauce, beef bourguignon, breads, cheese, poultry.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A Chard from Carneros, California with aromas of apple, pineapple and a hint of vanilla. The palate shows orchard fruit, pineapple, vanilla and citrus. Dry, med to full-bodied with a long finish with tangy citrus.
This Californian winery is part of the Boisset Collection. The Buena Vista winery was established in 1857, California's first premium winery, and now the original building where the wine was made is an historic landmark. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
