Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

unusual (for Amarone) aromas of candied cherries and wine gums. lovely mouthfeel, rhubarb flavours.
Brigaldara Cavolo 2013 is a dry and rich single-vineyard Amarone Della Valpolicella blend of 55% Corvinone with 25% Corvina and 20% Rondinella sourced from the Veneto wine region. The wine was aged four years, two years in French in barrique with two years in Slavonian oak barrels. Juicy berry fruit and florals on the palate, pair this Amarone with a sun-dried tomato sauce and meaty pasta dish. - Community Wine Reviews
