Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Bread & Butter Reserve Pinot Noir hails from Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, where the Pacific influence, foggy mornings, warm days, and cool nights, combined with clay, loam, and volcanic ash creates the perfect conditions for producing expressive premium Pinot Noir. 2021 Reserve shows ripe dark cherries reminiscent of Black Forest Cake, along with cassis, sweet herbs & spices, graphite minerality, and a slight earthiness on the nose. The palate is polished, showing a creamy texture with an impressive harmony of textures and flavours. The finish is long with more ripe dark cherry and spice persisting. Enjoy this fine Pinot over the next 5 years with charcuterie, wood fired pizza, and grilled pork tenderloin. Tasted October 2023. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
