Earth, herbs, cherry, animal skin and tobacco. 88 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lots of dark fruit, tobacco and subtle earthiness on the palate - smooth tannins! Great value at under $14!
Cora Beaulieu rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

This wine is a light, somewhat juicy wine, with aromas of red berry fruit, cherry, plum, floral, mild spice, leather, and a slight earthy note. On the palate, this wine does not have lots of complexity, but it does have lots of tart fruit, mostly ripe cherry, some cedar and cinnamon flavors. The soft tannin and gentle acidity, give it a sultry mouth-feel. Moderate length of candied strawberry and cherry fruit. Will pair well with a lot of meats and cheeses.[Tasted Mar/2017]
Sharon Lécuyer rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Bouquet of cherry and a hint of smoke. Light- to medium-bodied, smooth on the palette with flavours of raspberry, cranberry. There are balanced tannins and some minerality on the finish. Pair with food that can be complimentary to the tart and bitter flavours (think spinach- or kale-based salad, soft cheeses like feta or brie, sauces that are mustard, red-wine or soy based). If you're looking to branch out from your usual European wines, give this Greek red a try. Great value for $13

This is a great value Greek wine to try if you haven't ventured to that country before in the LCBO. Light cherry colour with aromas of smoke, red cherry and currant. Plenty of juicy fruit on the palate. Smooth tannins with medium acidity. A nicely balanced wine that is easy on the pocketbook and to drink! Tasted March 20, 2017
Jacky Blisson rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby in colour. Intriguing leafy, red berry and faintly smoked aromas. Very tangy and fresh on the palate; light in body with very subtle oak and rounded tannins. Very easy drinking.
Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

Strong oak influence on the nose with vanilla, and smoky spices. Firm tannins, ripe berry flavours, and a medium light body. Fairly easy going and approachable.
