Crisp and clean with mouth-watering acidity. The bonus: it looks like Jay-Z's Ace of Spades which costs 100 times more. Perfect for fried chicken or fish and chips.

Prosecco food pairings: steamed Dungeness crab, steamed lobster with lemon garlic sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Dean Engemoen rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Beautiful aromas of pear, wheat and white flowers. Pleasing flavors of peach, almond, baked pear and citrus. Slightly off-dry and creamy, be sure to serve well chilled.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Medium fine bubbles capture the pear, golden apple and cantaloupe aromas jumping out of the glass. Flavours are divine, Bartlett pear, peony perfume, lemon curd and a hint of mandarin orange. Bright, bubbly and zesty. Dry with a hint of honeyed peach sweetness at the end. Medium acidity, medium minus body and finish with yellow pepper and light plum persisting. Incredibly food friendly. Pair with creamy stuffed mushroom caps and olives, baked chicken or buttered popcorn. - tasted January 2018
Bottega Gold is a crisp, clean and mouth-watering Prosecco from the Veneto wine region. The bottle is beautiful as is the Prosecco. Great sparkler to serve to green salads and seafood appies. The Glera wine grapes for this sparkler were hand-harvested and made in the Charmat (tank) method. - Community Wine Reviews
