Butty with toasted almond on the nose. The palate is vibrant with green apple racy acidity ideal for roast chicken. Great value.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Light apple aromas followed by delightful lime, tropical fruit and oak on a full-bodied palate. Rich and creamy mouthfeel and remarkable value for this price point.
Tasted August 2016
Carola Price rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Green apple and lemon on the nose with hints of oak. In the mouth it has a little Granny Smith apple and lime and while viscous the acidity is a really pleasant addition. Not overly oaked and with a medium finish it will be a great match to grilled pork chops and smoked applewood cheddar and medium Gouda.
Drink now to 3 years.
Neil Phillips rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Pale lemon with a hint of green.

Aromas of acacia, golden delicious apple, lemon, light vanilla, buttered popcorn.

Creamy on the palate, fairly good body with flavours of applesauce, almond, juicy pear. Acid holds the tropical fruit nicely. Nice medium+ finish.

This is a very good value Chardonnay that's mid-weight between stainless steel and (heavier) oak. Most versatile.

Tasted October 2016.
