Lapis Luna 2018 is a full-bodied Zinfandel-driven red blend with 20% Sangiovese wine grapes added in giving the wine a lovely balance of ripe red berry, raspberry, tart cherry, sweet and pepper spice flavours finishing long and vibrant on the palate. So good and excellent value under $20. Produced from wine grapes sourced from the Pauli Ranch, Mendocino, North Coast wine region in California. Pour with a meat-lover's pizza.

Zinfandel food pairings: meat-lover's pizza, burgers, ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Hailing from California’s North Coast appellation, this ruby coloured Zinfandel featured enticing aromas reminiscent of cassis and raspberries that introduced a rich, round palate defined by ripe dark fruit, spices evocative of dried oregano and supple tannins. Pair partners include dry rubbed pork tenderloin. Enjoy.
