Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Garnet red with ruby hue. 15% abv. An Amarone Della Valpolicella with typicity. Dried figs, strawberry, leather, blackberry. Well balanced, well integrated. At a great place in its evolution when tasted April 2016. @jonsteeves rated 92/100. Enjoy 2016-2020.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Wow! What a wine!! Here we have a glorious, rich, full bodied Amarone. This Amarone shows layers upon layers of pronounced black cherry, leather, plum, dates, smoke, mint leaves, baking spice (anise & cloved espcially) and hints of gamey notes. The palate is smooth and rich with a mouthwatering acidity and long intense flavours that resemble much of its aromatics. Also, the alcohol is well intengrated but reveals itself with a noticeable mint and spice note lingering in the finish. This wine is drinking well now and may not necessarily peak with more aging. Enjoy soon with a seared bison tenderloin and no need to decant. Tasted April 2016.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
