Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

"Rich, luscious, ripe and juicy" bottle note. That it is! Oodles of jammy flavours with sour cherry, coffee, chocolate and sweet baking spices and herbs. The flavours are a repeat of the tart cherry with some cranberry, sweet cigar box,oak and pepper. Full-bodied with some smoothing tannins and medium(+) acidity. This wine is a glass of happy and meant to be enjoyed now. Sub $20. Loved it!
Tasted: January 2016
The 2013 vintage of Bogle's Essential Red is a Californian red wine blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It features aromas of anise, vanilla spice, black fruit and chocolate. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
