From Bodegas Lavia in Spain's Bullas wine region, Lavia Plus+ 2015 is an elegant Monastrell with blue florals, dark plum and cherry aromas on the nose. Dry, medium-plus-bodied and nicely balanced with wild dark berries, dark plum, mint and spicy flavours silky on the palate. Tannins are fine. Produced from vines over 40 years of age and matured in 500-litre French oak vats for 12 months. Pour with a roast Porchetta.

Food pairings: pork tenderloin, Porchetta, grilled sausages.

Bernard rated this wine as 94/100
From Bodegas Lavia in Spain's Bullas wine region, Lavia Plus+ 2015 is an elegant Monastrell produced from sustainably grown grapes sourced from vines over 40 years of age. Floral on the nose with ripe dark plum, cherry and subtle spicy flavours on the palate, it remains elegant with supple tannins and a long silky finish. - Community Wine Reviews
