This crisp and refreshing sparkling wine is a blend of 61% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay and 3% Pinot Gris, and made in the Méthode Traditionnelle and is designated BC VQA. It spent two years resting on its lees to give it richness and creaminess that challenges the best of N.V. Champagnes. A zesty, refreshing bubbly with vibrant green apple notes. Clean finish. Great price. It offers low alcohol but lots of taste and a persistent mousse. What's not to love about one of Canada's best sparkling wines? The wine is made in the style.

Reviews and Ratings

Neil Phillips rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

One of Canada's finest - and consistent - sparklers.

This recent tasting was the 2010, disgorged March 2013.

Great persistent bubbles, not quite fine in size. Light golden yellow colour.

On the nose, heaps of apple with wild strawberry and a hint of lime.

On the palate, apple remains, a dance of both green apple and red delicious - the latter lending a "sweet" perception to this dry wine. The citrus is there too, with great acidic balance. Yeasty notes were faint.

Finish is medium-plus in length, and mousse never stopped. Great value!
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This golden gem is complex, well balanced and ready for enjoyment. A wonderful traditional method bubbly offered at a great price. Toasty, dry, with mouthwatering high acidity, integrated alcohol and ready to please. Any time of day with any meal, this gorgeous sparkling is a sure thing. Wow! Great job Blue Mountain. Tasted Feb 2017. Rated 91/100. @BespokeTastings
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Top Drop Vancouver 2018 - one of the best sparkling wine produces from Okanagan! It has very rich and fine bubbles that rapidly coat your tongue. Slightly sweet to balance the acid and the finish is about 3-5 seconds. Overall a well-made sparkling wine
The Brut “Gold Label” has a fine mousse, with lemon and toasty character on the nose and across the palate, with a crisp lemon finish. The wine is made in the Methode Traditionnelle style.
