Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Full bodied and rich tasting Chardonnay with a silky mouthfeel. Pale lemon in colour with a moderate nose. Aromas of sweet apple, citrus with stone fruit and nuttiness developing later. Refreshingly acid with a short finish. Tastes of stone fruit, apple and citrus. Pairing with Brie brought out a pleasant sweetness, would also pair well with simply grilled scallops.
Saint-Véran produces one wine and it is Chardonnay bearing a close likeness to the Pouilly Fuissé produced just across the way and dividing the vineyards of Saint-Véran into northern and southern sections. Look for soft white florals, ripe peach, honeyed pear flavours on a creamy palate with a lingering smoky citrus finish. Great acidity for food and great value under $20 as well. Pair with rich seafood dishes. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
