Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

La Joya Gran Reserva 2017, harvested in the Colchagua Valley of Chile, shows intense aromas of red cherry, mission fig, green bell pepper, slate, sweet tobacco and oak. Made from 100% Carmenere, La Joya Gran Reserva delivers a medium body, a long fruity finish and silky tannins. This Chilean shows the know-how of the Bisquertt Family Vineyard and is sure to please on any occasion. Palate: tart cherry, blackberry, white pepper, leather and oak. Enjoy!
The Carmenère wine grapes for La Joya 2017 Gran Reserva are sourced from the Bisquertt Family Vineyards in the Colchagua Valley. Plushy with ripe plum, dark berry fruit and savoury spice flavours mouth filling on the palate. Enjoy with gourmet burgers. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
