Rui Roboredo Madeira is one of the most energetic, dynamic winemakers in Portugal and is a leading voice in the new wave of quality-driven, wine. A juicy red wine blend of Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) and Touriga Nacional with soft cherry, plum and savoury spice flavours on the palate. Easy to enjoy now. Grapes are grown at an elevation of 700 metres and the wine is aged in stainless steel tank to retain its fresh and bright fruit flavours.

Food pairings: grilled pork chops, rack of BBQ ribs, lentil dishes, veal Porterhouse, borscht.

Produced by Rui Roboredo Madeira, Vinhos De Altitude 2017, the Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional wine grapes for this full-bodied, smooth and fleshy red are grown, as the name suggests, in high altitude vineyards planted in the plateau area of Beira Interior wine region at an average altitude of 700 metres. Great value under $15 on this juicy red with ripe red berry, cherry, savoury herb, spice and toasty oak flavours on the palate. Easy to enjoy with burgers and ribs from the grill. - Community Wine Reviews
