From Beringer, there is so much flavour on this medium-plus-bodied red blend from Paso Robles, California. The Waymaker 2015 is a rich and textured blend of 38% Shiraz, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petite Sirah, 7% Zinfandel, 6% Tannat, 3% Mouvedre and 3% Malbec. A delicious and rich blend of chocolate-covered cherries and red berry flavours wrapped up nicely in sweet cake spice.

Food pairings: grilled meats, sausage cassoulet, vegetarian chili.

Reviews and Ratings

Bruno rated this wine as 93/100
Produced by Beringer, this is a fantastic, medium-plus-bodied red blend from Paso Robles, California. The Waymaker 2015 is a rich and textured blend of 38% Shiraz, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petite Sirah, 7% Zinfandel, 6% Tannat, 3% Mouvedre and 3% Malbec. Just about every red wine grape here. Lots of ripe dark and red berries, chocolate, earthy florals, savoury and sweet spice on this well-priced red. Pair with grilled pork chops. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
