Look for ripe stone fruit, tropical fruit, lemon curd, butterscotch and brioche flavours on this spicy and toasty medium-plus-bodied Chardonnay. Lots of tasty layers to enjoy here matched with bright acidity. Pair with a sautéed pork tenderloin and tropical fruit compote.

Chardonnay food pairings: roast duck, rabbit fricassee, turkey burgers.

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This full-bodied, complex Chardonnay has a generous nose of toasty lemon, smoky mushroom topped with hints of ginger. Lemony toasty notes on the palate offset by a hint of earthiness. There is a lot going on in this glass all crowned with a deliciously long finish. Chardonnay like you dream about.... Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
From Beringer, the Private Reserve 2017 Chardonnay is a medium-plus-bodied classic Napa Valley Chardonnay designated organic. Produced by winemaker, Mark Beringer, the reserve aged 10 months in 100% new French oak barrels giving it its crème brûlée, tropical fruit, toasty oak spice and baked pastry flavours on the palate. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
