Reviews and Ratings

Bill Wright Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Black fruit and lots of spice.
This is a great value wine.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Inviting floral (rose buds) red plum and ripe berry aromas give way to enticing acidity, berry, vanilla bean, cedar and spice flavours. Overall, it's a crowd-pleasing value priced Merlot that pairs well with beef chili nachos. Tasted March 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A mouthwatering Merlot from California. The founders estate 2014 vintage shows fruit forward with berry and plum dominance on the nose ad palate. Great acidity, medium tannins and integrating alcohol declared at 13.8% ABV. Pairs well with pork chops, roast pork tenderloin. A value-focused steady and consistent Merlot which has crowd-pleasing appeal. Tasted March 2017. 88 points.
Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lots of dark fruit and spice on the palate - great value Merlot at this price point! Perfect for pizza night or football Sundays!
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A full and fruit forward Merlot, with a lengthy fruit finish and a hint of black pepper zip.
