Reviews and Ratings

Pam Hatton rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Pale gold with buttery nose of apple crisp, caramel, pear and a bit of oak. Creamy and crisp at the same time with flavours of green apple, citrus and a touch of oak. A dry long finish.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Nicely balanced and flavourful. Aromas of pear, creamy lemon, oak, vanilla and warm spice. Medium-full bodied, with medium acidity, lots of citrus on the palate, with notes of vanilla and a touch of oak on the finish. Enjoy with turkey or roasted chicken with herbs.
A classic Californian Chardonnay produced from a certified sustainable vineyard in Sonoma County. Benziger 2017 is creamy and crisp with green apple, ripe stone-fruit, lemon curd, toffee, vanilla and toasty oak spice flavours on the palate. Pair with roast turkey or chicken. - Community Wine Reviews
