Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer WSET 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Deep purple wine, with a pronounced aroma of mocha, Black fruit (blackberry, black currant, black cherry), clove and nutmeg spice, vanilla, wet stones, and kirsch. Dry, full bodied, medium plus acidity, medium plus tannin. The palate brought in tastes of green bell pepper and cedar. Long finish of green pepper, wet stones, mocha, black fruit and a hint of cedar. My XMAS 2022 dinner wine, with filet mignon. Great to drink on its own too.
Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A classic CS from Cali with perhaps a touch more acidity than others (a product of organic I beleive) Crispness is nicely offset by a kiss of sweetness. Just a well constructed CS start to finish.
