Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Canada'siconic sparkling wine house, Benjamin Bridge, has released its first non-vintage (NV) Rosé which builds off of the success of their NV Brut, along with their fantastic vintage sparkling wines. A beautiful copper/rose gold colour, the nose shows field strawberries, fresh baked strawberry scones, sweet red apple, and that Gaspereau Valley hallmark, sea breeze. Very refreshing and so incredibly sessionable, especially in the summer sun with good friends, this is a fantastic wine to enjoy in any setting and for me a charcuterie platter is a great place to start. If you haven't tasted a Benjamin Bridge sparkling wine this would be a great starting place, followed by their NV Brut, vintage Brut, vintage Rosé, and finishing with their iconic Nova 7 - arguably one of Canada's most loved wines. The NV Rosé is a food pairing superstar - from BBQ to salads to seafood, it complements them all with its elegant and fruity style. Tasted July 2018. 92 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I’m glad that I opened this bottle. Beautiful notes reminiscent of strawberry, honey, red apple, pastry dough and stony mineral headline this traditional method sparkler from its aromatic pour to minutes long lovely finish.

Crafted in Nova Scotia, Canada with a blend of l’Acadie, Chardonnay and Pinot noir grapes, this bubbly rosé feels rich, off dry, medium bodied and mouth coating.

This wine’s persistent, comforting sound of effervescence is music to my ears.

Uncork this creation on occasions big and small. I have opted for a small occasion, opening it for friends on a Wednesday night.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A beautiful Nova Scotian sparkling wine blended from L'Acadie and Chardonnay. Aromas of lime, green apple and a hint of cherry. Light, crisp effervescent bubbles, and bright acidity balanced with tart citrus, apple and a hint of cranberry. So versatile with food, enjoy with seafood appetizers, smoked salmon, or grilled pork.
Philippe Perreault - Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

This NV rose sparkling from Benjamin Bridge is a blend of L'Acadie Blanc (55%) completed by Chardonnay (30%) and Pinot Noir (15%).

Pale rose color with a light golden hue with an intense bubble.
Aromas of white cranberry, raspberry, green apple, mineral and toasted.

On the palate, it's nerve, medium long and generous.

Serve it between 12-13 degrees.
Pair it with a salmon tartar.
Ready to drink but can be aged 3-4 years.
Produced in the traditional method as in the making of champagne, Benjamin Bridge is a consistent crowd-pleaser. Pretty in pale pink, the non-vintage bubble is fragrant with a refreshing mousse of strawberry, cranberry, green apple, white almond, citrus zest and subtle spicy flavours fresh on the palate. Produced from L'Acadie Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. Drink or hold. - Community Wine Reviews
