Lots of mouth-watering grapefruit aromas and flavours on the nose and palate. Refreshing aperitif or companion to seafood. Green, lime, acidic: refreshing, and mouth-watering. Medium-bodied. Picpoul de Pinet is a grape varietal as well as an AOC wine. The grapes are grown on southern France's Mediterranean coast, though this comes off as very cool climate white wine: think Vinho Verde x 10.

Picpoul food pairings: wiener schnitzel and potato salad, pan-fried freshwater fish, oyster hotpot.
