Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel WSET IV Candidate - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Bartier Bros. rosé 2022 is fresh and fragrant with medium-intensity aromas of strawberry cream, dried fine herbs and soft citrus zest. Peachy pink in the glass, it is as pretty as its colour on the palate; dry, barely medium-bodied, elegant and silky with ripe strawberry, raspberry, rose petal, pink grapefruit flavours and mineral notes, in total balance with crisp acidity (medium) with a hint of tannins textured on the finish. So very, very good now, we enjoyed it lightly chilled with crudites and dip. Tasted June 23 2023.

Produced from 51% Gewürztraminer, 45% Chardonnay, 2% each Merlot and Pinot Noir grapes to give this rosé its delicate coral-pink hue.

Grapes for the 2022 vintage were hand-harvested and the Gewurztraminer and Chardonnay were whole cluster pressed into stainless steel tanks with a cultured yeast fermentation (17C) for 21 days. The individual batches of Merlot and Pinot Noir fermented on their skins for 19 days prior to pressing and blending.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
