This respected winery is located between Florence and Siena in the heart of Tuscany. A robust, mouth-watering red wine made from the Chianti region's classic grape Sangiovese. A balanced, medium- to full-bodied red with aromas of tart cherries and raspberries. Pair with pasta in tomato sauce.

Chianti Classico food pairings: bucatini with sausage and peas, roast beef, cheesy pizza, stuffed roasted turkey, pasta with tomato sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

From producer, Barone Ricasoli, the red wine blend for this Chianti Classico Brolio (2013) are mostly Sangiovese grapes with some Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2013 vintage was a strong one. - Community Wine Reviews
