Love the nose on this aromatic Gewurztraminer rose petals, soft citrus, lychee and ginger spice aromas on the nose. Zesty and off-dry with honeyed apple, ripe fresh pair, lychee and baking spice flavours on the palate. Lightly chill and enjoy with grilled seafood dishes.

Gewurztraminer food pairings: pork seasoned with ginger, sashimi and sushi, mild vegetarian curries.

David Skinner rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Light straw. Classically Gewurztraminer with floral notes to accompany lychee, honey, and hints of ginger. Medium bodied and medium acidity. Slightly off-dry. Citrus palate with tropical fruit accents. Medium finish. Serve with Spicy chicken dishes or mild cheese.
From the Alsace wine region, Baron de Hoen Reserve 2018 Gewurztraminer is fragrant with rose petal, lychee and honey aromas on the nose. Off-dry, medium-bodied with lychee, ginger spice, citrus zest and mineral flavours on the palate. Pair with crab cakes and fish tacos. - Community Wine Reviews
