Reviews and Ratings

Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Jan. 18th 2018 in Aruba. Colour light straw. Legs medium minus. Aromas and flavours of, peach, tangerine, cantaloupe and Meyer Lemon. Taste, dry, mouthwatering, medium mouthfeel, fruity, Good balance. Finish medium, mouthwatering, citrus. I like this Pinot Grigio because it is crisp, refreshing, mouthwatering and good value. Match this wine with light pasta, pork, and fish dishes. I had a pastrami sandwich with Gouda cheese on whole grain bread. Nice lunch wine.
From Italy's Tuscany wine region, the Pinot Grigio wine grapes for Banfi San Angelo (2015) were selected from estate vineyards in the southern part of Montalcino. Soils there are clay with some calcareous soils. Wines are fresh, crisp with honey and mineral notes. Great on its own or to accompany light, spring pasta dishes like pasta primavera. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
