A lovely German white wine made from the country's classic grape Riesling. Just enough residual sugar to balance the vibrancy of the acidity. A perfect match for Asian dishes and curries.

Riesling Kabinett food pairings: roast chicken, spicy pasta dishes, shrimp tempura, grilled salmon with lemon sauce, duck liver pate.

Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Please may I have some more? Pale lemon colour with faint familiar petrol nose but it doesn't stop there! Lemon zest, blossoms on the wind, oxidized apple, wet stone and fresh peach lend a hand in this glass. Refreshing acidity and a slight effervescence make for a lovely Rheingau Riesling outing. Food friendly indeed but Spicy Asian Fusion cuisine or fatty fried foods - no shaming allowed!
Tasted: November 2016
The Rheingau is one of Germany's smallest wine regions but is well-known the world over for its many different styles of Riesling wine. - Community Wine Reviews
