This South African white wine is made from Chardonnay grapes and is kosher (KMP). It's crisp and clean with bright green apple aromas and flavours and mouth-watering acidity for roast turkey.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled salmon, chicken breast, potato cakes, French onion soup, breaded veal cutlets.

Reviews and Ratings

Sean O'Regan - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a Kosher Mevushal wine from Paarl South Africa and has not been barrel matured - a easy clue is the 2015 vintage at time of tasting.
Pale staw, flinty mineral, butterscotch, honeydew melon and citrus lemon on the nose. Medium body, zesty and clean with good citrusy acidity, apple, pear and lemon, with delicate nutty/yeast note. Medium long finish with a bit of alcohol showing.
A great pairing with a dry rubbed slow roasted chicken.

Nicole Lewis rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

An example an un-oaked Chardonnay from South Africa - It is pale yellow wine and notably Kosher Mevushal. Lemon and herbs greet the nose. It is a medium bodied offering with refreshing acidity, a taste of citrus fruit, some minerality and a long citrus finish. I would pair this with a simple poached or baked filet of sole.
