From the Niagara Escarpment wine region in Ontario, the Pinot Noir grapes for Bachelder Les Villages Bench 2021 were sourced from Wismer-Parke, Wismer Wild West End, Saunders and McNally vineyards. Pale ruby in the glass, this PN is anything but shy on the nose and palate with bright pink florals, cherry, ripe raspberry, anise and sweet baking spice flavours bright on the palate with a deliciously long and elegant finish. Drinking beautifully now.

Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled chicken dishes, rack of lamb, veal cutlets with a wild mushroom sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Bachelder Les Villages Bench 2021 is a blend of Pinot Noir from several sites. Palest of ruby in the glass, but brilliantly flavoursome with tart cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavours on the palate with hints of pink florals, subtle baking spices, sous bois and mineral notes on its medium-bodied frame, it is very elegant and polished. Lightly chill and enjoy it through 2026 with salmon steaks from the grill. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
