Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Beautiful crisp and elegant Burgundian Chardonnay. The 2013 vintage offers supple full-body and well-balanced components. Declared 13% ABV. Mouthwatering, tropical fruit, stone fruit, minerality. Long finish with persistence of canned mandarin oranges and nectarines. You can taste the fruit and the land in this bottle. A supreme example of Cool climate continental Chardonnay by Canadian legend Thomas Bachelder. Tasting well. Allowed to breathe for an hour prior to tasting. Pairs well with crab-stuffed salmon filet, turkey dinner, or seared tuna Steak. Light oak touch imparts a complementary touch of vanilla. Complexity with every sip. Tasted April 2017. 93 points.
