Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A gorgeous Cab. Sauv. from Paso Robles where the Hope family have been making wines since 1978. This is a big wine - coming in at 15% alcohol. The nose is fragrant with aromas of ripe blackberry, cassis and spice. It's made with 75% new french oak so there are vanilla undertones. Ripe black berry flavours with medium acidity and polished tannins. If you are looking for a good Sunday Supper or Company for Dinner wine that will impress buy a case and lay some down - this is a wine that is going to get even better in a few years! Tasted April 26, 2019 California Wine Fair
Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon has ripe black cherry, dark berries, dark chocolate, vanilla spice flavours on the palate, finishing long and spicy with velvety tannins and good acidity for food. Pair with gourmet burgers. - Community Wine Reviews
