From the Lolol Valley wine region, Araucano Clos De Lolol 2014 is a medium-plus-bodied single-vineyard red blend of Carmenère, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, organically and biodynamically grown and Demeter-certified. Nice and full on the palate with ripe dark berries, savoury herbs and cedar spice. Great cellaring candidate for three or more years.

Food pairings: hearty meat dish, chicken, braised lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Lolol Valley wine region, Araucano Clos De Lolol 2014 is produced by famed winemaker, François Lurton. The wine grapes for this rustic medium-plus-bodied single-vineyard red blend of Carmenère, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot are organically and biodynamically grown and Demeter-certified. Flavours are intense with dark berries, fresh herbs, savoury and cedar spice. Tannins are smooth and this flavoursome red is very approachable now, but could easily cellar for three more years to show its best. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
